Warren Reservoir
A peaceful reservoir reserve for walks and waterbirds
Just north of Williamstown, the Warren Reservoir sits in a forested reserve that offers some of the southern Barossa's most peaceful walking. Trails wind through native bush along the water's edge.
The reservoir and its margins are good for birdwatching, with waterbirds on the open water and bush species in the surrounding gums. Shaded picnic areas make it an easy family stop or a leg-stretch on the way into the valley.
It pairs naturally with the nearby South Para reserve for a bushwalking half-day away from the cellar doors.
