Hentley Farm Restaurant
A two-hatted restaurant on a working biodynamic vineyard at Seppeltsfield, serving a single ever-changing degustation built on the day's harvest.
Set in a restored 1840s stone barn surrounded by its own vines, Hentley Farm has become the Barossa's most celebrated fine-dining address. There is no à la carte here: you sit down to a long tasting menu that follows whatever the kitchen garden and the seasons are offering, paired (if you wish) with the estate's own grenache and shiraz.
The cooking is precise and unfussy, leaning hard into hyper-local produce, and the dining room's exposed stone and timber feel exactly like the valley it belongs to. It books out weeks ahead, especially for the long Sunday lunch sittings. Treat it as a destination in itself rather than a stop on a busy itinerary.
