Greenock Creek built a near-mythical reputation for dense, powerful old-vine shiraz that collectors chase across the world. The wines are made in tiny quantities from low-yielding dry-grown vineyards around Greenock.
The cellar door is modest — a heritage stone building, a few wines to taste — but the pedigree in the glass is anything but. Allocations can be limited, so this is one for the committed.
