Tscharke Wines
An organic, biodynamic cellar door at Marananga making alternative varieties and natural-leaning wines from estate-grown fruit.
Damien Tscharke farms his family vineyards organically and biodynamically, and the cellar door reflects that adventurous streak. Alongside classic Barossa Shiraz and Grenache you'll find Montepulciano, Savagnin, Tempranillo and other alternative varieties that thrive in the warm, dry climate.
The tasting room is understated and the focus stays firmly on the wine and the farming behind it. It's a rewarding stop for drinkers curious about where the Barossa is heading beyond its famous reds.
