Flaxman Wines is a small, hands-on producer in the Flaxman Valley, part of the high Eden Valley country east of the Barossa floor. Working old, low-yielding hillside vineyards, the winery makes concentrated Shiraz, fine Riesling and Grenache in tiny quantities. The cellar door is intimate and personal, often staffed by the makers themselves, making it a rewarding find for travellers who seek out the smallest producers.
