Eden Hall Wines

A small Eden Valley estate making tight, age-worthy cabernet and riesling from high, cool vineyards.

Eden Hall works the cooler, higher country of the Eden Valley, where ripening is slower and the wines come out finer-boned than the valley floor below. Cabernet sauvignon is the flagship — structured, savoury and built to last — alongside the riesling this district does so well.

The cellar door is low-key and personal, the sort of visit where you might end up talking vintages with whoever is pouring. It is a good first stop on any tour of the high country.
