A quiet roadside lookout above Marananga offering one of the best panoramas across the Seppeltsfield vineyards.
For a vineyard view without the crowds of Mengler Hill, the rises around Marananga and Seppeltsfield are hard to beat. From these slopes the valley floor unrolls in neat rows of vines, with the famous palm avenue and the Seppeltsfield estate laid out below.
It's the kind of spot to pull over at golden hour with a bottle and a wheel of Barossa cheese. Bring a picnic rug and let the light do the rest.
