Nuriootpa Linear Park

A shaded creekside walking and cycling path through the heart of Nuriootpa, following the North Para River.

The Nuriootpa Linear Park threads along the North Para River through town, a green corridor of red gums, birdlife and easy flat paths. It is popular with walkers, runners and families on bikes, and links parks and playgrounds along the way.

It is the kind of low-key local asset that travellers often miss — a free, pretty, pram-and-bike-friendly stretch to walk off lunch. Keep an eye out for kookaburras and the occasional kangaroo at the quieter ends.
