Run by sisters Janelle and Kristen Zerk, Z Wine brings a younger, design-led energy to the heart of Tanunda. The cellar door sits right on Murray Street, making it an easy walk-in between bakeries and shops, and the wines lean modern: aromatic whites, elegant Eden Valley Riesling and polished Barossa reds.
The space is relaxed and contemporary, a nice counterpoint to the valley's grand heritage estates. It's a good first or last stop if you're basing yourself in town and travelling on foot.
