Kies Family Wines
Five generations of Barossa winemaking on the Lyndoch flats
The Kies family has farmed and made wine around Lyndoch for five generations, and the cellar door has the unhurried feel of a genuine family operation rather than a corporate showroom.
The range leans on old-vine Barossa reds alongside more approachable everyday styles, and the grounds — with lawns, big shade trees and a café — make it one of the more family-friendly cellar doors at the southern end of the valley.
It's an easy first or last stop on a Lyndoch wine day, close to the main road but with a country-estate calm.
