Casa Carboni
An intimate Italian enoteca and cooking school on Angaston's main street, run by a chef who makes pasta by hand.
Casa Carboni brings a slice of regional Italy to Angaston. Matteo Carboni runs it as part wine bar, part restaurant, part hands-on cooking school, and the through-line is fresh pasta made on the premises.
Drop in for an enoteca lunch of antipasti and a glass of something Italian, or book a class and learn to roll your own. Either way the room is small, warm and personal.
It is proof the Barossa's food story runs well beyond German baking and big reds.
