Smallfry Wines is a boutique family operation run by Wayne and Suzi Ahrens, working organically and biodynamically across vineyards in the Vine Vale and Eden Valley areas. Tastings are by appointment at the cellar door at 13 Murray Street, Angaston. The wines lean towards traditional Barossa Grenache, Shiraz and Riesling made with minimal intervention. It's a good stop for travellers seeking smaller, hands-on makers away from the bigger estates.
