Barossa Wine Show & Public Tasting
The region’s benchmark wine competition opens to the public
A benchmark for the valley
The Barossa Wine Show is the region's most important wine competition, judging hundreds of entries from Barossa and Eden Valley producers each year. It sets the benchmark for the vintage.
The public tasting
Following the judging, a public tasting lets visitors and locals sample the medal- and trophy-winning wines side by side - a rare chance to taste the best of the valley in one room and discover new favourites before the awards make them famous.
Held in Tanunda, it's a highlight of the Barossa wine calendar. Check the Barossa Wine Show program for the current year's dates and tasting details.
